Kathy Sacks is a leadership strategist who helps people find their inner courage to do big things in business and life. With a long career in building purpose-driven ventures, she is a serial entrepreneur and experienced marketer, having launched and sold multiple businesses.
An angel investor and founder of Fearless Ventures, Kathy also invests in and advises early-stage tech startups, with a leaning towards women-led ventures. She aims to bring the ratio up to a balanced 50/50 is the goal in the world of fundable ideas, capital and seats at the table.
Kathy regularly speaks and consults with startups and companies on growth, focused on the intersection of brand, product and marketing.
Early on in her career, she co-founded bizAZ, a media company that became the number one magazine focused on local business coverage in Arizona. She led editorial, brand and products as Editor-in-Chief. She later sold bizAZ to Gannett Inc. and went on to launch a second media company, bizSanDiego a magazine and web property that featured Tony Hawk and other successful entrepreneurs in San Diego county.
Most recently, she was VP Communications at Infusionsoft, the top sales and marketing software for small businesses software where she helped grow sales from $5 MM to $60 MM and launched a NY Times bestselling book, Conquer the Chaos: How to Grow a Successful Small Business Without Going Crazy. Previous to that she led marketing for iLinc, a publicly traded web conferencing company. Prior to that, she founded a boutique public relations firm helping venture-backed tech companies grow market share through the power of story. She has also served as VP Marketing and Communications for the Arizona Technology Council where she launched the first magazine covering tech in Arizona, TechConnect.
